Schinias

Schinias Beach lies within the Schinias–Marathon National Park, part of the Natura 2000 network, stretching approximately 5 kilometres with fine golden sand and shallow, crystal-clear waters. A dense pine forest reaches right down to the shoreline, providing natural shade and a scenery reminiscent of a Greek island, while frequent winds make it a favourite spot for windsurfing and kitesurfing. The overall experience is peaceful and unspoiled, far from over-development, making it ideal for families and nature lovers alike.

The beach is located approximately 40–45 kilometres from central Athens and is primarily accessible by car, with parking available directly at the beach, while on weekends and public holidays OFYPEKA (the Greek Environment & Climate Change Organisation) provides free shuttle buses for park visitors.
