Nafplio Beach

The beaches of Nafplio, most notably Arvanitia and Karathona, are celebrated for their crystal-clear waters and stunning setting beneath the city's historic castles. Arvanitia is a small pebble beach with clear blue water and remarkable views of Palamidi Fortress, while the larger sandy Karathona Beach offers shallow, calm waters ideal for families. Both beaches are well-organised with sunbeds, umbrellas, cafés and showers, offering visitors a relaxing seaside experience on the Argolic Gulf.

Arvanitia Beach is within easy walking distance of Nafplio's Old Town, while Karathona Beach is approximately 4 km away by car or local summer bus via 25th Martiou Street, with free parking available — the two beaches are also connected by a scenic coastal walking path (approximately 45 minutes on foot).
