Moutsouna beach is located on the eastern coast of Naxos, next to a picturesque fishing village with a deep history tied to the island's emery mining heritage. It features fine sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling, while the traditional taverns nearby serve fresh fish and seafood. The rusted remains of the emery aerial tramway that once carried ore to the port lend the area a unique and nostalgic character.
Moutsouna is accessible by private car or motorcycle via an asphalt road from Naxos Town, following the route Naxos Town – Galanado – Chalki – Filoti – Apeiranthos – Moutsouna (approximately 37–38 km).
