Mesakti is one of the largest and most popular beaches in Ikaria, featuring golden sand and crystal-clear waters intersected by two small rivers that form charming freshwater lagoons. Its calm, shallow waters make it ideal for families with young children, while on windy days it becomes a favourite spot for surfers. The beach offers beach bars, sunbeds and umbrellas, and visitors enjoy a picturesque view of the small chapel of Analipsis at the port of Gialiskari.
The beach is located on the north side of Ikaria, near the village of Armenistis, and is easily accessible by car or bus via the main road, from which visitors descend a short flight of steps to reach the shore.
