Megas Limnionas beach is located on the eastern coast of Chios, approximately 9 km south of Chios Town, nestled between the popular spots of Karfas and Agia Ermioni, making it one of the island's most beloved beaches. It features thick sand and small pebbles, with crystal-clear, calm waters and a gradual seabed that makes it ideal for families with children. The area offers hotels, rooms to let, and fish taverns, and the beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for the quality of its waters.

Access

The beach is easily accessible by car from Chios Town via a paved road and is also served by local bus lines, though access on foot is not recommended.
