About

Kourouta beach, nicknamed the 'Mykonos of mainland Greece', is one of the most popular beaches in the Peloponnese, featuring golden sand stretching over 5 km in length with an average width of 25 meters. The crystal-clear waters of the Ionian Sea are shallow and safe, and are awarded the Blue Flag every year for their excellent quality. The area offers numerous shops, restaurants, and water sports facilities, and the beach is fully accessible to people with mobility disabilities.

Access

The beach is easily accessible by car via the new Patras–Pyrgos National Road, with the exit at the Amaliada–Kourouta junction, located approximately 6 km from Amaliada and 20 km from Pyrgos.
