About

Avlaki is a small, picturesque cove featuring pebbles and concrete sunbathing platforms, located approximately 800 metres west of Hydra's port. The waters are crystal clear and turquoise, and the spot is completely unorganised with no sun loungers or refreshment facilities, offering a peaceful and authentic swimming experience. It is a favourite spot among locals and visitors seeking tranquillity away from the crowds.

Access

The beach is reached via a short 10-minute walk from Hydra port along the coastal road towards Kamini, then descending a zig-zag flight of steps to the sea, located just before the Téchnē restaurant.
