Armenistis beach stretches for over a kilometre along the north coast of Ikaria, featuring golden sand and crystal-clear blue waters that create a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. The waters become deep just a few metres from the shore, making it ideal for experienced swimmers, while strong winds bring in impressive waves that attract surf enthusiasts. The beach offers spectacular sunset views over the open Aegean Sea, and the nearby tavernas and restaurants provide visitors with authentic Ikarian hospitality.
The beach is easily accessible by car, as the coastal village of Armenistis is located 41 kilometres northwest of the island's capital Agios Kirykos and 12 kilometres east of Evdilos, with the port of Evdilos also providing convenient ferry connections to the area.
