Anavyssos

Anavyssos beach, located on the Athenian Riviera in Attica, is one of the largest beaches in the region, stretching over one kilometer along a natural bay. It features a mixed surface of sand and gravel with crystal-clear, shallow waters, making it ideal for families with children and beginner swimmers. The bay offers natural protection from strong winds, while on windy days it attracts windsurfers; the beach is well-organized with sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, changing cabins, and beach bars.

The beach is easily accessible by car via the Athens–Sounion National Road, with free parking available along the coast, at a distance of approximately 52–58 km from the center of Athens.
